Sizing Guidelines: Nostril/ear 

• 3/16": thinner than average healed piercings
  
• 7/32": thinner than average healed piercings
  
• 1/4": thinner than average healing piercings; average healed piercings
  
• 9/32": average healing piercings
  
• 5/16": average healing piercing; thicker than average healed piercings
  
• 11/32": thicker than average healing piercings
  
• 3/8": thicker than average or irritated healing piercings
  
• 7/16": very irritated piercings
  

Remember that these are just guidelines, and that it’s generally safer to go longer than you think you need than shorter.
