If you haven’t worked with us before, we’ll have you shadow Christina and have Christina observe you on your first day to make sure you’re comfortable in our studio. We’ll also give you a Guest Piercer guide with tips and tricks for our studio along with good places to eat and check out when you’re in town.
In addition to piercing, you’ll also help with jewelry sales, as well as sizing and installation. You’ll have counter help during your shifts. Arthur has worked with us for over 10 years and is a font of knowledge. We also have a part time counter person, Carter, who is starting their apprenticeship.
Piercing Experience is one of the oldest continuously operating piercing only studios in the world. This is where Brian Skellie perfected freehand, tool free procedures. Atlanta is a great metropolitan city with a reasonable cost of living. It’s located close to the north Georgia mountains for nature lovers. You’ll never run out of things to do here.
We offer competitive pay including hourly pay plus service and jewelry commission. This could even lead to a permanent position!

We’re looking for someone that:
- has at least 4-5 years of professional piercing experience. We want someone who’s confident and excited to work with our long term clientele.
- can offer a full range of piercing services. Ears and noses are our bread and butter, but we also offer a full range of other piercings including genital piercings. We do expect you to be comfortable offering the basics like VCHs and PAs. We do not offer piercings we feel are not worth the risk, like horizontal tongue piercings and smilies.
- has experience handling customers from start to finish, including jewelry selection. We believe piercers have specialized knowledge that results in more appropriate jewelry selection for our clients.
- has experience selling and installing high end jewelry, especially with precious metals and genuine stones. Our clients love gold, and we have hundreds of options in stock! We currently offer jewelry from BVLA, Alchemy Adornments, Anatometal, Modern Mood, Neometal, Body Gems, and more!
- is comfortable piercing in a fully disposable studio. That also means there’s no tools for you to process and package! We do have disposable tools available, including needle blanks, transfer pins, and the occasional hemostat.
- has thorough knowledge of proper aseptic technique including using sterile gloves. We’re geeks about this stuff and our clients have come to expect us to be super knowledgeable about it.
- is comfortable working with pretty much every facet of society. Nobody believes it until they’ve spent a couple of days here, but our clients really do come from everywhere. We need to know you can deliver the utmost customer service to anybody that walks through the door.
